Reward Code Batches
Reward code batches are CSV uploads that supply the codes assigned when Customers redeem a code-based Reward. They are used for gift cards, partner vouchers, subscription codes, and other benefits where each Customer must receive a code from a controlled inventory.
Use Casesβ
| Use Case |
|---|
| -> Upload 10,000 partner gift-card codes before publishing a Reward. |
| -> Monitor remaining stock so a digital Reward does not run out during a campaign. |
| -> Remove an incorrect batch before any code is assigned. |
| -> Review which code was assigned after a Customer redemption. |
How it worksβ
- The operator uploads a CSV batch to a Reward.
- Loyal Guru validates and stores the available codes.
- When a Customer redeems the Reward, Loyal Guru assigns one available code.
- The code becomes linked to that Customer redemption.
- Remaining stock decreases after each assignment.
Batch status and stockβ
| Indicator | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Uploaded batch | File was received and processed. |
| Remaining codes | Codes still available for future redemptions. |
| Assigned code | Code already linked to a Customer redemption. |
| Empty stock | Redemption cannot continue until new codes are uploaded or stock is corrected. |
Deletion behaviorβ
Only delete a batch when you are sure its codes should not be used. Codes already assigned to Customers represent delivered benefits and must be handled carefully.
If a batch contains invalid or duplicated codes, stop the Reward before customers redeem more codes and contact support/technical teams to assess whether any assigned codes need operational correction.
Configurationβ
Go to Loyalty and Promotional engine β Rewards β [Reward] β Codes and upload the CSV batch from the Codes tab.
