Grouped Plans

Grouped Plans lets you run cross-plan forecast and ROI analysis, aggregating results from multiple plans by campaign category or supplier. This is useful for quarterly planning reviews, CPG co-marketing reporting, budget allocation, and any scenario where you need a consolidated view across several plans instead of one plan at a time.

Use Cases

Use Case
β†’ Compare ROI across Recovery, Up-selling, and Cross-selling plans for Q3.
β†’ Review total budget consumption and incremental ratio for a CPG partner across 10 simultaneous plans.
β†’ Identify which campaign categories are underperforming relative to forecast before a plan closes.
β†’ Group all plans for the same promotional period to understand how much budget each category consumes before approval.

Prerequisites: Set Up Campaign Categories

Grouped Plans requires campaign categories to be configured beforehand. Categories are the main grouping dimension β€” each campaign should belong to a category for this feature to produce meaningful output. Supplier grouping is also available when supplier campaigns are configured with supplier data.

  1. Navigate to Configuration β†’ Campaign Categories.
  2. Click the creation button (top right) to open the category modal.
  3. Enter a category name; leave the Priority field empty.
  4. Click Save.

Repeat for as many categories as needed. Once categories exist, they appear as a mandatory dropdown during campaign creation β€” each new campaign must be assigned to a category. This is how plans can later be grouped for budget and forecast review.

note

Categories that have no campaigns assigned will not appear in the grouped analysis output.

Running a Grouped Forecast

  1. Navigate to Campaign Personalization β†’ Intelligent Delivery β†’ Forecast tab.
  2. Select the plans you want to include in the analysis.
  3. Choose whether to group results by Campaign Category or by Supplier name.
  4. Optionally narrow results by selecting specific categories from the filter.
  5. The table updates with aggregated metrics across the selected plans.
  6. Review the aggregated budget and incremental sales before approving or launching the individual plans.

Use grouped forecast before launch when a team needs to answer budget questions such as: how much budget is allocated to Recovery vs. Cross-selling, which suppliers consume most of the campaign cost, and whether the expected incremental ratio is strong enough across the selected period.

Exporting Grouped Plan Data

Click Export in the Grouped Forecast or ROI view to download the data. Due to Excel format constraints, exported data is presented as one row per campaign (not grouped). Use native Excel pivot/sum functions to reconstruct totals.

note

Exports are processed in the background for large datasets. Download the file from the Notifications section once processing is complete.

Running a Grouped ROI

After plans have been launched and redemption data starts coming in, navigate to the ROI tab in the same Grouped Plans section. The same filters (plan selection, grouping by category or supplier) apply, and actual delivery, redemption, cost, and incremental metrics replace the forecast estimates.
